Moved to Japan and spent more than a decade in Tokyo, spending more time making music than writing for a number of years.

Now living in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Released first novel "Getback" on the internet only in 2015. Followed this up with a book of fiction and rumination called "Myogusa" in 2016.

Published short fiction during university in the American River Review and Calaveras Station literary journals.

Other stuff related to the written word: Wrote and recorded music in the U.S. and Japan, and released a number of albums with lyrics in Japanese and English. Wrote arts and music journalism for a while in Sacramento. Worked stints as a technical writer and a translator, and worked creating educational materials as well.
