Tirso Cruz III (born Tirso Silvano Cruz III, April 1, 1952) is a Filipino actor and singer. He is one of the famous actors in Philippine show business.

Biography and career

Nicknamed "Pip," his love team with Nora Aunor is regarded as the most famous love team in Philippine Cinema. Tirso was first managed by the late Douglas Quijano. He is recently known for his villainous and supportive characters on TV and movies.

He is married to Lynn Ynchausti-Cruz and has two sons (TJ and Bodie) and one daughter (Djanin). Tirso was Roman Catholic, and is now an Evangelical Born-Again Christian.
