Hyattstown is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States.[1] Established in 1798 and named after its founder, John Hyatt, this crossroad's town is located on Maryland Route 355 (formerly known as "The Pike" or "The Great Road") in upper Montgomery County. In this full-service town, one could have found a place to stay at the local Hyattstown Inn, a one room school-house, a butcher, blacksmith and other commercial venues.
