The Total Presence is a new exhibition, conceived according to a different plan from the essential theses contained in the book de l’Être, which constitutes the first volume of the Dialectic of the Eternal Present. This work had seemed difficult to a certain number of readers: the same doctrine will be found here, reduced to a simpler line and, so to speak, ideal, relieved of all the particular issues that it risked sharing the attention, of all the technical issues that forced it to extend. I just wanted to isolate some inseparable elementary conditions from all philosophical research and the very experience of life, which are often forgotten, but never with impunity, and from which I will continue the dialectical development in the study of the Act, Time, Soul and Wisdom.
