: لماذا السيرة الفاطمية؟ السيرة من السير والسير في اللغة (الذهاب، كالمسير، والمسيرة، والسيرورة، والاستيار) والفعل: سار، ومضارعه يسير، لأن أصله سَيَرَ. وهو يستعمل لازماً ومتعديا، قال العلامة ابن منظور: (وسار البعير، وسرته أنا، وسارت الدابة (لسان العرب: سير). وقد ذكر أهل اللغة لاسم (السيرة) أربع دلالات، فقالوا، (السيرة: الضرب من السير، والسيرة: السنة والسيرة: الطريقة، والسيرة: الهيئة) (القاموس المحيط، ومقاييس اللغة: سير). على هذا تكون السيرة هي كل ماقام به المعصوم عليه السلام من أعمال وماقاله من أمور وقرره من حقائق سكت عنها أو نهى عنها.. فالسيرة اذن رحلة لاكتشاف الانسان العظيم وتسليط الضوء على منجزاته وأعماله وآرائه وبيان فلسفته ونظرياته وهي استنطاق لما تركه من تراث فكري وحضاري وثقافي يفيد الانسانية ويكون عونا لها على دحر الظلمات وسبر معابر النور. وتتكون حياة كل إنسان وسيرته من نوعين من الوقائع: الأول: وقائع يتشكل بها (تاريخ حياته) بدءا بولادته وظروف نشأته وانتهاءً بوفاته وظروف موته، وطبيعة هذا النوع من الوقائع غير قابل للتكرار والإعادة. والآخر: وقائع تتشكل بها (طريقته في الحياة) ونهجه ومذهبه العملي فيها وتتألف من عاداته اليومية وسلوكياته المختلفة إزاء الحوادث والأشياء المحيطة به، وطبيعة هذا النوع من الوقائع متكرر ومعاد ...
